If "white" = "with"

i [would] like to know the difference [with] a ink cartridge printer (ink cartridge don't last very long) and laser printer [with] a toner?

Ink is a liquid solution that can be applied to various surfaces as if it were a "paint".

Problems: Liquid dries in spray nozzles from non-use. Ink dried on paper surfaces can be smeared if it contacts water.

Laser Toner is ground plastic. It gets applied to various surfaces by applying a static charge to a roller, transfering that static charge to the surface of the final object (paper or card stock) and that object is passed over a well of toner powder (ground plastic) so it sticks to the charged paper, then the whole thing is Heat Fused to make is permanent.

Problems: Black only is great, but doing grayscale or colors is more difficult. Can't 'blend' colors easily as each color (if used) as each color is supplied in it's own pass and heat fused independently. Also, thicker objects (paper, cardstock) may not heat well, the toner will brush/fall off due to failed heat fusing to object.

ink...inkjet: The printer sprays color on the paper: Problem on poor quality paper it is not nice, if it get wet it get ugly and the small valves tend to get problems. To prevent the problems it always tries to clean them, which additional to the all time broken printer head causes you a lot costly color.

laser printer has some solid color that sticks on drum, prints nice and clean and professional. Cheaper per page, less problems. But in Thailand the toner tends to get moisture......

Both can be used/modified with other colors, which reduces costs but can cause some quality issues.
