marriage visa ( application for extension to stay)

I am currently on a non immigrant B visa but will finish work on May 30th. I will apply for a marriage visa ( extension to stay) as from June 1st.

Have any new rules been introduced recently? Any new surprises? Would appreciate any feedback.

Are on a non-b visa from an embassy or consulate or an extension of stay you got at immigration?

With a visa or extension you should check with your local immigration office to see if the will let you apply for the extension or change the reason for your extension.

Some offices will only do the extension if you have a non-o visa now.
