Yes it's me again.

Lets see what you have in your photo albums with this topic.

If possible name the Reservoir or at the very least the Province of Thailand.

Let me start you off

Srinakarin Dam, Kanchanaburi, we do have two dams here by the way and then some smaller feeder dams which are there to be seen.

Bhumipol Dam and Reservoir, Tak Province.

Now thats what I like, makes me wish I was there.

Thanks.... I'm getting cabin fever at the moment, and the 39/40 degree heat isn't doing a lot to help either. I need to get out and try to remember how to use the flaming camera again!

And thank you very much for your photos and may they continue as now I have a Fresh Water Member that likes the ripples that I travel on. wai.gif

^^ No, I didn't miss it at all. The dam in your picture is the Lower Ping Dam and doesn't hold back the reservoir. The Bhumipol Dam is approx 5kms further upstream. wink.png

Now THIS is the dam.

Sure, been there as well 5 kms further up. Will post some of my photos.

So the River Ping from CM goes into this dam and out again by the same name? facepalm.gif

Thank you once again.

Another view of Rajjaprabha Dam,

Tourists who visit the Surat Thani area are stopping over on their way either to Koh Samui or to Phuket.

If you are in this area one attraction is a must to see "The Rajjaprabha Dam" (also called Chieo Lan Dam). It is secluded and undiscovered by tourists.

The dam is located in the Khao Sok National Park, on Road 401 to Phuket off the main Route 41 going south.

Hire a long tail boat for a hour trip or so if you wish as long as the weather is good.

Just when you all thought you were safe, I found another.... Mae Suai Reservoir, Chiang Rai Province. The dam suffered some damage in the earthquake last year.
