What a Robinson R44 looks like.

Given the recent stuff about flying approvals etc., etc., I wonder if there was an approved flight plan and did the helicopter go through safety checks by both officials and the pilot, and is the pilot appropriately qualified? Just wondering.

BANGKOK: -- A chartered four-seat helicopter crashed into a grass field in Koh Kred district of Nonthaburi province injuring three people.

The incident happened at about 9.30 am as the light helicopter Robinson R44 belonging to Heliluck Aviation was flying over Koh Kred island and unexpectedly lost control and crashed into the field behind Paramaiyikavas temple.

However the pilot identified as Surachai Sarkarn and two passengers were not seriously hurt.

The pilot broke his teeth, while a man, Wongsakarn Lertsetakarn, 32, and an unidentified woman were slightly injured.

They were later admitted to Chonpratarn hospital.

Witnesses said they saw the woman leapt out of the damaged helicopter slightly injured seeking help from residents nearby.

She reportedly told witnesses that the helicopter was chartered by her friend for an aerial tour to surprise her on her birthday.

Police said the cause of the incident was not yet known and the police have sealed off the scene for investigation and for safety reason as fuel has leaked out from the aircraft.

Local authorities said on September 11, 2010, a light helicopter also crashed at Koh Kred, injuring four people.

Experts speculated that a malfunction in the spatio-temporal navigation system may have been the reason why he fell off the bar stool. Police have narrowed down the cause of the incident to a political conspiracy, a business conflict, a personal conflict or other. In the meantime the perpetrator has been charged with attempting to defy the law of gravity. His defence lawyers argue that he was just trying to peel a brand logo label off a beer bottle in compliance with the laws and regulations on the promotion of alcoholic beverages. The court has set 22 April 3015 for the initial hearing and requires that the defendant be there in person to hear the charges.

"Experts speculated that a malfunction in the spatio-temporal navigation system may have been the reason why he fell off the bar stool. Police have narrowed down the cause of the incident to a political conspiracy, a business conflict, a personal conflict or other. "

I have it on good authority that it was a Thai woman who pushed him off the stool. Nonetheless, the police will probably say that he fell of his own free will.

Further investigation by the C. I. team, revealed that, indeed, the bar stool had been elevated to an unsafe altitude which, when spun just I more time, loosened

a kanutin stability valve, causing the sittee to fall. Luckily he fell on a small child avoiding serious injury and the seat spinner was apprehended and facing charges.

Soulpeel mate after a cursory glance at the crash photo it's clear to even a layman that the flange inducer separated from the main rotating capacitor causing the induction shaft to fail leading to an inverse reaction in the pulminary bearing assembly. I should know. I watched every episode of The Whirlybirds when I was a lad.
