Hello all.

I was hoping someone would be able to help me. I've searched through this forum but can't find the answer.

I am in the process of completing the re-entry permit application form and it asks when and where my previous visa was issued, Should I put the date and place I first obtained this visa (Nong Kai) or the date and immigration office where my latest extension was given? I also have a new passort where my visa extension was 'transferred' in to. Should I even put the date the new extension stamp was put 'transferred' into my new passport?

Many thanks.

Just as a matter of interest which "visa" was obtained in Nong Kai?

"Visas" are normally obtained from a Thai Embassy/Consulate outside Thailand !

For the visa it would be where be the embassy or consulate where you got your last visa. That seems to be Vientiane in your case.

Visas are not extended only a permit to stay is extended.

Just put the info for the visa that is on the visa sticker or the annotation of it in your new passport. Where and the date?

Then your current permitted to stay date from your most recent extension in the space for that.
