Krub
Hi, I prepared : -Filled-in TM 7 form with 1 foto (front back downloaded from TV) -Passport signed copy of each non-blank pages -Copy of both sides of my TM 6 ED card -Filled-in original of Medical certificate form (downloaded from TV) -Bank book signed copy of each non-blank pages -Original bank statement letter showing same amount as book (more than 800k) -Copy of last year's letter from Embassy stating my adress in Thailand - 1.900 baht They required me to provide: - 2 filled-in application forms each with one foto - 2 sets of copy of passport and TM 6 ED card - 1 original and 1 signed copy of the medical certificate - 2 sets of the bank book copy - 1 origonal and 1 copy of the bank statement - 2 copy of the Embassy letter As I went prepared with extra copies I didn't mind but it looked like they just wanted to save themselves time as they seem to be required to send copies of each applications to Bangkok..... As usual very friendly (sat down with aglass of cold water!, the office is like an open front street shop without air con), uncrowded (I was alone for my application, did not see anybody before or after me and got this year's number 33 re-rentry permit not too many making it an average of 3/4 per month) and slow (took an hour....) I also at the same time applied for a multi re-entry permit - Filled-in form with foto - 3.800 baht And 4 residence certificates - Filled in form FREE of charge I believe the 2 copies of each documents requested by Nan immigration are not required at other places as the Embassy letter. Be prepared with extra copies just in case as they make the rules as they go along. The 2 copies were not required even at Nan for last year's applicatin Edited September 6, 2006 by Krub
jayenram
As far as my experience extends (6 years) there has been the requirement for two copies of everything (or original plus 1 copy) when the application is made at a provincial office. One copy for Bangkok and one for their records.

Krub
What is the "Embassy letter" you refer to? As stated in my original post, the Embassy letter is a letter stating that I live in Thailand at XXX adress. It was required by Nan immigration although I believe it is not required everywhere. It says : To whom it may concern This is to certify that Mr XXXX passport number XXX states that he lives at XXXX adress Edited September 7, 2006 by Krub
