Pattaya Police arrest Bangkok Drug Courier with 7.9 Million Baht’s worth of drugs



PATTAYA: -- A 40 year old female suspected drugs courier was arrested by Pattaya Police in Bangkok on Tuesday following information received from previously arrested drug dealers and users.

The Police were aware of an inmate at Chonburi Central Prison who was controlling a drug dealing network which incorporated Pattaya and the rest of East Thailand and Bangkok and decided to place a sizeable order of drugs with the intention of intercepting the drugs and the courier.

Khun Lada was told to deliver the drugs to the undercover team, posing as drugs buyers in an agreed location in Bangkolaem in Bangkok. The courier arrived and was immediately arrested after she was found to be in possession of a considerable amount of class 1 drugs.

She was the courier, how much investigation has gone in to finding the supplier.

Or is no investigation required on that score?

Because maybe they won't investigate in case it is one of their own.

why didn't the police follow up on this instead of just arresting the courier this is obviously a network thai logic prevails ..

Sure they had to track where the money goes after the deal. Maybe police don't have so big fish trap.

Now just wait for the tv members that will say that a beer, alcohol, is also a drug.

I guess this currier or Mule better be thankful that she was not caught in Indonesia!

I do agree that it is a shame that the Drug lords, are not the people we see caught

and are being ready for a firing squad or the noose. In most places in the world , it is

only the dealers, and mules and low level people involved that get caught and arrested.

What a shame!
