lj cm
Does anyone know where there is a "big - professional" exhaust pipe repair shop in CM. I had a repair done at a small 'shop house' place and the job they did is not good. The sound and vibration from the exhaust pipe now goes through the chassis and gives noise inside the car. lj cm
OK; I will bring the car to my regular tire shop, put it up on their lift, and see if they can help me.
DavisH
What kind of exhaust did you have put on? Stock exhaust is quietest, assuming the fit is ok. Or is it just the exhaust pipe vibrating as you say? I'd be inclined to return it to the shop and show them the problem For quiet aftermarket, the next quietest would be a twin loop exhaust. http://www.jhpusa.com/store/pc/catalog/mugen/mugen.exh.twinloop_d.jpg I have one on my honda and it's quiet below 4000 rpm. The smaller the exhaust, the louder it will be, especially something knocked up by a local shop.

I think the noise is due to vibration from the exhaust pipe. The small shop does not have a lift, so in all cases, I will go to my tire shop first, so I can look at it. Lancashirelad
If its vibrating its touching the chassis or floor somewhere. Frequently new non oe replacement exhaust sections need to be heated up with gas welding gear or similar and bent to adjust the fit.
Chillaxin
There is a muffler specialist Wat Charak on the Canal Road just past Lanna Pinery as you turn South at the Samoeng intersection. 0806759852 It was THB 4k to change out the whole line past the header, including a new silent muffler and flexible coupling.
