Hello!

I am an Austrian passport holder and the 60 days from my tourist visa will run out on 1.5.2015. (that is what the stamp "admitted until" sates) As far as I understand it, on this date the immigration office in Jomtien will be closed. Would that mean that I may apply for a 30 day extension on Monday? It would be ace, as one of my friends is currently in hospital and if the extension can be till Monday that would take away one of my worries. Thank you!

It is my understanding immigration will be open, saying that what is stopping you from doing it tomorrow ?

Oh great! I thought the 1st of May is a public holliday here!

As I said...I would rather stay in hospital with my friend... last time immigration was so packed that it took forever.
