My work permit extension will end up in the middle of June and my business visa extension at the end of june.

Every time i go to the Chiang Mai immigration to extend my business visa extension (one year), they extend my visa for one month and i have to come back later to get my one year extension.

During this month, it looks like they are sending all my papers to Bangkok for approvement.

I would like to go to Europe every summer (june to august) but off course, i have to stay here for this f*** extension.

Is it possible to extend my work permit for only 9 months, so i could ask for a 9 months business visa extension ?

In this case, my business visa extension will end up at the end of march and i will be able to extend one year from this new date.

They will still do a one year extension of stay with a work permit that is valid for less than year.

The only way to change the date of your extension is to let it run out, get a new single entry non-b visa and apply for an extension of that 90 day entry.
