PATTAYA: -- Just before daybreak on Monday, Police raided the staff quarters of a South Pattaya Restaurant and arrested a suspected drug dealer who was caught with a large quantity of class 1 drugs.

Information was received by Pattaya Police regarding Khun Pichitpong aged 37, who was known to work as an assistant cook at the Suan Nam Restaurant in South Pattaya. He was suspected of supplementing his small salary by selling class 1 drugs.

Inside his small room, Police found a total of 58.45g of Crystal Meth and the drugs and the suspect were taken to Pattaya Police station where Khun Pichitpong revealed that he used to sell noodles on the street and then got the job as assistant cook at the restaurant but he needed more money to send back to his family home and decided that drug dealing was the best option for him.
