Thai highway code is based on the UK one, don't bother reading or abiding by any of the rules though, Thais certainly don't. Driving on the left if you feel like it and traffic lights are just a suggestion, indicators if you can be bothered, other drivers f them, that's about it really.

+so you have been driving here for 5 years without knowing the rules please tell why bother now ??you have seemingly survived until now

why the sudden urge ??? by the way i think the rules can be found on line thai/english from the relative government department (s)
