It should be the simplest thing, but I don't see any options for doing it.

see down the bottom right corner? - [More Reply Options] - click on it

a new set of options open up to you below the text input box

Click on [choose file] and then browse for your desired picture file

Click on [Attach this file] box

At this point an uploaded picture is linked to your Post, but you probably want it to be visible within the Post, so...

On the right hand side below the text input box there is an [add to Post] box to tick, which adds the picture into the Post

(but make sure you move and click your mouse cursor to the exact place you want the picture to be placed within the text area (BEFORE) you add the picture)

(but don't worry if you place it wrongly, because you can cut/paste later to get it to the right position)

Good also to re-size your images before uploading/posting them. If they are huge in dimensions they can stuff up everyone else's browser view/scroll

600 x 400 is big enough
