Featured Replies

Hi

Could you recommend some reliable websites for downloading free e-books?

Thanks

Z-library.sk

And

Mobilism.org

Between then, they have everything.

Add Calibre to your pc to organise and change formats of your book and to load on your Kindle.

This dashboard tracks the availability of popular “shadow” libraries in real time:

I use Anna’s Archive and Libgen most often.

In Australia if you have a library membership you can access their e libraries with free downloads. Not sure where you are from and if they have the same but the apps are from international companies - borrowbox and overdrive

I want to know where you live that's quiet enough to listen to a book

No fireworks, motorcycles and women screaming at dogs to shut up barking? 🫡

https://oceanofpdf.com/ is one I have found.

Usually download in EPUB format then use calibre to convert to Mobi for kindle use.

Pirate bay also has e books.

Tons of audiobooks in the public domain...

Currently re-"reading" the Lensmen series...

Thinking maybe some Verne books next...

@Saddic Thanks, but not looking for audiobooks.

You just google the title of the book and add "pdf" or "epub" download. Usually oceano comes up, which is very reliable. If you want a more traditional shopping experience https://avxhm.se/ebooks/9819513774.html is very good but it costs 29 Euro a month or so for the fileshare service.

They have lots of denial of service problems blocking access and downloads.

To reliably use them 24/7 use TOR browser and their ONION address.

To call their husbands as dogs is not ok, really 😂

Which of the sites named above is good for downloading eBooks in Thai language?

Thanks ahead

These 2 don't work so well anymore, at least not the free version.

In the past libgen was great, unlimited fast downloads of huge library.

Now you have to watch hours of commercials just for one book that takes hours to download.

Thats not been my recent experience, but it definitely varies by user. For libgen in particular, a good adblocker is mandatory. I just tried Anna’s Archive (.gl) and it worked well - no long waits, commericals etc. - so maybe prioritize AA. Libgen, I agree, its gone downhill in recent months. Have you tried @BlueScouse’s recommendation? Pretty good site as well.
