BANGKOK: -- Thailand Post, the organization known for folding, breaking, throwing and totally losing mail, fired a postman yesterday after a customer, who was sick of waiting for her mail, visited the postman’s home to find a bunch of undelivered packages.

Facebook user Watchareeporn Sasawat shared a photo of the undelivered mail hidden at the home of Chantaburi’s local postman after she decided to go look for an EMS package she was supposed to receive nine days ago.

Watchareeporn said her family knew the postman personally, so a relative went over to his house and found her package, along with a pile of other undelivered letters and packages.

I complained to the post office as we have had no mail since December. Before that we were lucky to get mail every other month.

It's really annoying that we can lose track of bills because nearly all our mail goes missing.

I think it no coincidence that a letter arrived yesterday. Not only that, it was actually delivered to our house instead of being left at the local shop.

Seems that the post office does take action when they receive a complaint.

Exactly who`s expert opinion is this?

It's probably the opinion of people who have received folded or broken items in the post, or not received a package they were expecting at all.

Over a six month period I got none of the six items I bought online ...I complained to the boss & they were in my box the next morning the problem is that this happens every 6 months getting no or almost no mail they just seem to leave it somewhere for many months at a time & maybe you will forget about it ...in my case I had to buy all the items twice so when they showed up the next day they were useless to me

I receive a parcel worth 2000 euros from Europe every month since 10 years, and never had any problems...

I love Thai post office, they are very very good and their tracking system is the best i know.

visiting the local mail centre to pick up a package, I was sitting there watching them sort the packages & they were throwing them up to 4 metres into piles on the floor, they were simply too lazt to carry them and didnt care what was inside them so yes I can definitely say thet this is exactly how they sort their packages, Add to that 2 seperate visa cards went missing in the mail and the local PO told me that the workers are known to take them so they can sell them, even their bosses knows it happens but do nothing.

Same with me , no complaints at all. Very efficient. Only once a problem was the relief lady at my local Thai Post . I put the English address and at the end put UK. She was confused , I went to another post office and was told I should of put GB. I mean REALLY !
