Any recent info on Phu Nam Ron visa run (just a stamp to extend Non O for 90 days)

Featured Replies

Hi,

Does anyone know the latest on the Phu Nam Rom border crossing? I have a non o marriage visa and just need a stamp for an extra 90 days

All the info I can find seems to be months old and we all know how things can change.

Any recent info gratefully received

Cheers

There have been recent reports of it being open. The fee for the transport across no mans land the border pass is now 900 baht. Plus 10 baht for a color copy of your passport photo page.

It has been suggest not to go on weekends or holidays or it may take an hour or more to clear immigration.

Is this the immigration office in Chanthaburi province?

Just went last week. Easy as pie 910 baht. Friendly immigration officers. This is the crossing in Kanchanaburi.

It is a crossing in Kanchanaburi province to cross into Myanmar.

They not stamp my friends passport, so he got big problem, so cheek your passport , he didnt cheek, when you leave thailand.

he not want pay 500 extra for bus, only 410, and go by himself. So take bus 910 b, no problem.
