Do you have adequate supporting paperwork to apply for this "non O" visa ?

If you do have the paperwork PP might not be the best place to apply .

I should have all the paperwork which will be given to me by my organisation. I plan on being there for a week from a Wednesday to a Wednesday.

Can it be done in your opinion? Thank you for replys btw! :)

If the organisation is providing the documentation many would prefer Laos to obtain a visa but if you wish to try PP then best wishes .

Get the organisation to contact the embassy there, or better yet, you call them and ask.

PP are not very good for getting visas. Emabssies/consulates in Laos are usually much easier places to get them.

Every embassy in the region (actually the World) goes by their own rules. PP is not an easy place to get a visa, be prepared for them to just say no.

Which is true for the embassies of all countries. The rules and procedures differ from one embassy to another.

The US, UK or Australian embassies in Japan, for example, issue visas to Japanese citizens using a different set of rules and assumptions than would the embassies or high commissions of those same countries in Tanzania or Bangladesh or Oman.
