May 23, 201511 yr Wanted: honest dependable diligent fair priced and speaks SOME English. (I know I might be asking for too much here , maybe someone who just shows up and gets it done )Not sure if one person can do all this so BEST advice please on these for starters. (Any 'move out' comments already considered and unnecessary thanks anyways )Wall fan. Water pump. Fridge. Install internet cable. Fix all roof leaks. Air con service. And more later.
May 23, 201511 yr I would head over to the nearest decent hotel and ask to speak to their chief engineer. Make friends with him and he will always have qualified staff who would appreciate a little extra on their days off.
May 23, 201511 yr I have used this lot for roof repairs, aircon service and also plumbing and found them to be reasonable quality/price and turned up when they said they would. Caveat I haven't used them for 18 months.
May 23, 201511 yr irishaircon in Pattaya are excellent for you air con issues, very pleased with them
May 23, 201511 yr What the OP wants are things doing beyond a 'handymans' duties. He needs professional tradesman to do some of the tasks. Why would a roofer install cable? They wouldn't. It seems to me that the OP wants cheap labour. This will end in tears & further posts & complaining. Pay cheap pay twice Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Pay cheap pay twice Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Why would one need a professional roofer to fix a roof leak? A roof leak doesn't require to have the roof structure rebuilt, just adjusting and/or replacing some roof tiles. A handyman should be able to do most of the jobs mentioned in the OP except maybe for repair electrical appliances. Where did the OP say he wanted cheap? I read he said fair priced, but maybe you got another screen as me. Edited May 23, 201511 yr by Anthony5
May 23, 201511 yr Disagree In western countries you wouldn't call a handyman to fix s roof, you'd call a roofer. Each to their own. I see problems ahead Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
May 24, 201511 yr I have used this lot for roof repairs, aircon service and also plumbing and found them to be reasonable quality/price and turned up when they said they would. Caveat I haven't used them for 18 months. My apologies I just read my post from yesterday and found I didnt post the link. http://pattayahomerepair.com/ In light of what others have said the owner of the company contracts out the work to professionals, for example the plumbing stuff was done by a guy who also has the contract at The Dusit.
May 26, 201511 yr Author Names and numbers are good as are some responses. Most important right now is i need someone to fix or replace a wall fan. It will not switch on, period. I think I will hit this one problem at a time.
May 26, 201511 yr Get a multimeter & test for power. If power, replace the unit, if no power then get a sparky in as it's an electrical issue. They're easy to replace 3 or 4 wires. Easy Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
May 28, 201511 yr Author Next major problem: roof leaks, cheap possibly plastic roof panels. In fact they are so flimsy one can not walk on them or they might crack/break.
May 28, 201511 yr Next major problem: roof leaks, cheap possibly plastic roof panels. In fact they are so flimsy one can not walk on them or they might crack/break. Get a decent builder in is my thought. They'll deal or know all kinds of tradesman. Don't try to fix things on the cheap. It'll cost more in the long run. Get everything fixed properly in one go, get guarantees & make sure all jobs are complete before you pay. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
June 5, 201511 yr Author Also need electrician or handy man to install a commuter cable to circumvent wireless and make a land type line. You know, a direst line from router or transmitter to my computer. Edited June 5, 201511 yr by 2nice
June 6, 201511 yr Also need electrician or handy man to install a commuter cable to circumvent wireless and make a land type line. You know, a direst line from router or transmitter to my computer. You don't need an electrician for that, you can buy ethernet "RJ 45" in most computer shops, just walk around Tuk Com and you will see it. I can maybe see the need for a handyman if you need it taken through a ceiling or tacked to a skirting board.
June 6, 201511 yr What about the German electrician at Pattaya ? Is he really good ? Yeah, when he's sober. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
