2 companies, 1 extension and 2 work permits

Featured Replies

Hi,

If I currently own a company that provides me with an extension of stay and a work permit, but I want to open a second company, how do I go about the work permit and extension of stay for that ?

Can I keep the extension of stay and wp for the first company and then piggy-back a second work permit (different company) on that extension ?

Presuming both jobs are in the same company, the new employer is simply added to your current work permit. For that you need permission from the first employer, so you need to prepare a letter to that effect.

If the new company is in another region you would get another work permit for that job.

I own the company and am setting up another new company. I am my employer, and also my new employer.

Yes, I understood that. But you still need the formal permission from yourself as juristic person.

If the new company is located in the same province as the one where the current one is you can have it added to your work permit if not you will need to apply for a new work permit in the other province.

When you apply for your next extension of stay you will need to supply documents for both companies.
