Khor Ror 2

Featured Replies

My multiple non-imm O visa expires 07 July and have booked a KL run end of June which will bring me up to mid-end Sept.

I obtained the above visa using a Khor Ror 2 which I obtained from Amphur (lost the orig marriage cert many yrs ago),

As the date on the KR2 will be well over 12 months ago, will I need to make a further trip to Amphur to update or will the old date suffice?

KR2 is proof you are still married so would think only an up to date one would show that you still are. Your wife obtains the KR2. Thought if one loses the original marriage thingies you must go to the BiB for a report.

Either your wife or yourself can obtain a KR2 from the Amphur where you were married.

As in my case, I was married to a Thai many many yrs ago which meant I had to obtain a KR2 from that particular Amphur. The document is now on-line so therefore I am now able to obtain an update from ANY amphur.

Kl can be very picky, I would go to Penang.

Since the KR 2 only costs about 20 baht I would go to an amphur and get a fresh one. Especially if you apply in KL.

I didn't make myself clear Mario.

I will be actioning a final 90 day visa run to KL end June bringing me up to mid-end Sept when I will travel to Savannakhet to obtain a fresh multi non-imm O visa.

Concur. Update the KR2 at any Amphur.

Thanks
