Once upon a time if you replied to a post that had too many posts, it would come up with "you have posted more than the allowed number of quoted blocks of text's" you could then delete some blocks and this would enable you to make a post, now i am unable to delete any blocks and so cannot reply ! is there another way to do this ?

Not sure why you cannot delete them when doing the reply to a quoted post. Four is the max number of quotes you can do.

The easy way to snip out excess quotes is to change to BB code mode by clicking the button that is ion the top left side of the reply page.
