I just had my front door repainted.................can you see what a stupid irrelevent comment that was for the OP

unless your tub and I assume bath-tub not plant-tub is ceramic then what are you telling him.

If you are repainting your bath then its likely to be enamel on cast NOT ceramic glaze.

OP actually no I havent seen it here; but really its not the way to go. Its synonymous with cheap tacky local council housing makeovers. It looks Sh ! t and it scratches of if ever you want to clean it.

As above if you have the space available to add another 15mm or so to the face of your existing tiles then do that and over tile it. Decent tiles can be had for 150bt/m2 here. Its not a difficult job, much more satisfying in the end.

and if you have any spare tiles give them to tub happy above, tell him they are non slip and he can make a bathmat from them.
