June 3, 201510 yr It looks easy to break into but surely the guns were secured in racks inside as well. We used to run a chain through the trigger guards in the 1960s
June 3, 201510 yr "Reckless Teenagers" ? Headline should read "Reckless Police" for not securing the weapons.
June 3, 201510 yr It looks easy to break into but surely the guns were secured in racks inside as well. We used to run a chain through the trigger guards in the 1960s Please remember where you are, if you are.
June 3, 201510 yr May be they should arrest the police person responsible for security as well. Perhaps reclaim the back hander he may have got for allowing it to happen.
June 3, 201510 yr And they call this "reckless"? It takes a lot of gall to go into a police station and steal assault rifles then sell them on the black market. It seems to me that if the kids knew who would buy such weapons that his father could pay him to trap them. Then the issue with using money to buy drugs speaks a lot about how much discipline the son of a policeman is getting.
June 3, 201510 yr "One of the teenagers is the son of a police officer stationed in the base, he said." Of course, he had nothing to do with it.....
June 3, 201510 yr "One of the teenagers is the son of a police officer stationed in the base, he said." Of course, he had nothing to do with it..... Well here's the twist, some may recall the news about 18 months ago of a police officer in Pattaya who got caught selling stolen hand guns. His records showed in the several months prior to getting caught he had sold 160 stolen handguns, mostly to teenagers.
June 3, 201510 yr "The crime was initiated out of recklessness" and such a comment is initiated out of pure Thainess
June 3, 201510 yr What is the penalty for being reckless? The moral to the story is make sure you have a policeman's son with you when you do something illegal.
June 3, 201510 yr you know what it would be more difficult to steal a yogurt from a 7/11 than an M16 from an army base
June 3, 201510 yr Preposterous reporting of a very alarming Thai theft of weapons grade arms from Thai army property in the Thai south. Five suspects an three were criminals of age not minors. Why not release the three names? One minor was the son of a police officer stationed at the base. The theft of assault weapons is characterize as merely a "reckless" act to buy drugs. Preposterous and dangerous j ourani
June 4, 201510 yr Call me silly, but the current political non-climate is precisely the one where stealing military weapons is blisteringly stupid. Knuckleheads.
June 9, 201510 yr the teenagers broke into the armory multiple times how many rifles were actually stolen and why was it so easy to break in so much for police security .
