Age restriction on NON O Visa?

Recommended Posts

And that says it all, verse and chapter. This is the conclusion I came to after extensive searching of Thai consulate sites in the YUK.

One thing I have heard is that if you apply for the one year extension of stay in Thailand (convert to O-A) they do not require a medical certificate or police check

If you arrive in Thailand visa-exempt or with a tourist visa you can apply for a change of visa to non-O at the Bangkok immigration office and subsequently for a one-year extension of stay for the reason of retirement (retirement extension). No police and health check is required for this.
