Will They Let Me Back Into Thailand From Burma?

WELL, I,AM MARRIED TO A THAI WITH A CHILD..A GOOD INCOME FROM THE UK BUT NOT AT THE MOMENT 450,000 BART IN THE BANK HERE TO GET THE MARRIAGE VISA. I SPEND APPROX 70/80,000 BART A MONTH HERE. I HAVE BEEN DOING THE VISA RUN TO BURMA( VIA MAI SAI) FOR A YEAR. WHEN I GO OVER NEXT MONTH WILL THEY LET ME BACK IN OR WILL I BE STUCK!! PLEASE CAN ANYONE ADVISE IE KNOW THE REAL FACTS........

WHAT I CANNOT UNDERSTAND WITH THESE NEW RULES IS THAT I LIVE IN THE NORTH AND THE ONLY WORK FARANGS DO IS TEACH AT THE REQUEST OF THAIS....AND SURLY IF FARANGS DO WORK IN BARS IN THE SOUTH THEY ARE NOT PUTTING THAIS OUT OF WORK BUT PROVIDING WORK IN THE BARS....ALSO WHY MAKE US LEAVE THE COUNTRY TO GET A EXTRA 30 DAYS WHEN WE COULD GIVE THEM 500 BART NOT THE BURMESE. THE MONEY COULD BE USED TO HELP THE POOR PROVIDE MEDICAL CARE ETC...OF COURSE IT MAY GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! THEY KNOW IF WE ARE A PROBLEM FARANG AS THEY HAVE US ON COMPUTER NOW...IF FARANGS ARE A PROBLEM THEN THAT SHOULD BE UP TO THE LOCAL POLICE TO SORT OUT...EVEN A POOR FARANG SPENDS MONEY HERE SO IT SEEMS AS USUAL NO REAL THOUGHT HAS GONE INTO THESE NEW RULES. MAYBE IT WOULD HELP IF THE THAIS DISCUSSED THINGS AS A COMMITTE AND REALLY CHECKED TO SEE WHAT RULES WOULD ENHANCE THE IMAGE OF THAILAND AS THE LAND OF SMILES...AS I CAN SEE IT AND I HEAR FROM THE UK PEOPLE ARE SCARED TO COME HERE NOW WHAT WITH THE SUNAMI, BIRD FLU, SARS , THE BOMBS IN THE SOUTH( BUT THOUGHT TO BE ALL OVER THAILAND) AND OF COURSE THE POLITICAL SITUATION!! NOT TO MENTION CORRUPTION DO I HAVE TO GO ON....

I'm afraid that if you cross into Burma After october 1st, they won't let you in anymore. I would do a visa run just before that date. Ít will give you at least some additional time to get a proper visa.

Well thanks for the advise..NO MORE BLOCK CAPITALS!!!!!! Will go back to pattet farang and get myself a year o visa..Need to see my old mum anyway..NO we are not deaf in the north but after all those tall loud farangs yes you can guess which country they come from have second guessed the new rules and wound everyone up then yes we do like to get the facks!!.its a bit slower pace in the north so don.t come up here as you won't like it......This topic can be forgotton now as if you get a visa from a thai embassy abroad then even if you have 3 stampsVOA then you can get back in.......Thanks for your time.........
