Where to order multivitamins?

I have been to probably 10 different pharmacies and other shops to try to find multivitamins but i haven't found any. Basicly the only "stuff" i see on the shelves are Vitamin C and Zinc and some brands that have those two and just a few more other minerals/vitamins in them. And it's pretty damn "shocking" to see that they want outrages amount of money for a bottle with 50 tabs (something like 2 days salary for a thai person).

So, any tips for web site in Thailand where i can order "real" multivitamins that have more than 2-5 minerals/vitamins.

What type of vitamins do you prefer? Personally I buy herbal capsules made in Thailand, they sell for around 100 to 150 baht for 100 capsules.

I also buy Centrum multivitamin for 600 baht which is an okay price in Thailand.

But I have more faith in the real stuff , herbal powdered capsules. The best brand is Thanyaporn herbs that you will find in most health shops and some pharmacies.

My favourite is compound gingko biloba and ginseng, 150 baht for 100 capsules, you need 4 daily to get the wanted effect.

What i meant was a pill that has basicly "all" the needed minerals and vitamins a grown man would need each day... such as zinc, magnesium, iron, selen, coppar, calcium, vitamin A-E yadda yadda.

I think that Centrum has most or all the important things

Centrum comes in a couple of different versions adjusted for age. Centrum silver is for over 50.

It's manufactured by Lederle Laboratories in New York then repacked by Interthai Pharmaceutical.

I think you should take care of your view first. Think you need glases.

Al big pharmacies have a big range of vitamines, never seen before in Europ.

Yes most are expensive (400 to 500THB). Centrum is the most known but look also for Brandt's.

By the way, if you eat different food enought you dont need viamines unless you do hard labour are after you where sick - ill.

Overdossis of vitamines do more harm then good. One exeption vitamine C , if you take to much it goes if you pi.

You have no idea about my eyesight, what i eat nor why i eat like i eat, why i want vitamins/minerals or my knowledge about vitamins/minerals.

So please take your "thinglish" and go reply to some thread on Sanook or something.

I think the differences aren't big...just different marketing....

There is a good range of [ire unadulterated herbal supplements which can supply most of the vitamins & minerals you need or even to help with a particular ailment. For example a couple of years ago I could not walk properly due to osteoarthritis in my left knee & I was walking around like I had a peg leg. That all changed last year when I started using herbals including mangosteen which helps reduce the inflammation form osteo. I no longer have the pain nor do I walk with a peg leg. BTW 3 or 4 years ago orthopedic doctor informed me there was no cartilage in my left knee & said the only option was knee replacement after showing me the x-rays.

Readily available just about everywhere, but expensive.

Centrum, Blackmore's brands

I like Pharmaton and have taken it for years. Prefer it to Centrum. It covers all the groups but is expensive. Fortunately the price can be bargained down if the pharmacy recognises you as a familiar face.
