and if anyone is missing yellow smoked haddock try some asia sea bass fillets soaked in a smoked liquid overnight.

They have it up here in Rimping,no help to you,but will

be trying to make the smoked fish,as I really miss Finnan

P.S. Makro imports Mackerel from Norway,just wish they

could add some Cod,Haddock or Whiting to the order.

i am positive what we used to have back home was liquid smoked [haddock and cod[ what i done was half teaspoon of liquid smoke and one tablespoon of water mixed together,then basted the fish and left overnight. poached in the pan and served with fresh bread and salty butter.ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh yummeeeeee.
