Lease on a house yet to be built

Featured Replies

In the next 3 months I intend to have a new house built on land which is registered to my thai gf who lives in Issan.

My question: Is it possible to have a 30+30 year lease signed on the property prior to have the house biult.

My main concern is the house dosn't excist yet so it will not have an address but could a lawyer have the lease signed by both parties and fill in the house number at a later date?

Help as always appreciated.

You could have a 30+30 year lease on the land with a clause that any buildings erected on that land plot would be included.

I recommend a farang laywer for this setup, a Thai laywer would not fix this in your best interest, that's my 2 baht.

Anyone here having experience with this?
