How can it be?

Lower Sukhumvit -> Don Muang on meter: 150-180B depending of the traffic. Isn't the distance to the new airport roughly the same? Thus total cost should be about 350B (70B tollway, 100B surcharge, 180B meter price).

all depends on what they are calling "center" --- if they mean Old Town by the river ... could easily happen

How can it be?

Lower Sukhumvit -> Don Muang on meter: 150-180B depending of the traffic. Isn't the distance to the new airport roughly the same? Thus total cost should be about 350B (70B tollway, 100B surcharge, 180B meter price).

If I remember right, from lower Sukhumvit to Don Muang is some 25 km. I went to Suvarnabhumi

today starting from Ekamai via Bangna Trad tollway and ended up with 43 km on the clock. Add the distance from lower Sukhumvit to Ekamai and it is easily 50 km.
