Hmmmm, I think you may be hard pressed to find one. I seem to remember that they are outlawed in this country.... but then I could be wrong.

I`ve never seen them in any shops during my travels which in itself is a bit strange. Im sure if they were about that a lot of Thais would be out in the rice fields right now looking for lost treasure/gold.

i'm curious too. saw this on facebook at least a week ago. probably long gone by now - under layers of silt.

they won't say how it happened. sounds weird i think.

If it's under the silt, it ain't long gone thumbsup.gif

Saw it on FB. Sounded like wife or gf tantrum to me, but might be wrong.....

I really don't think that they are illegal here--many years ago I had one for underwater use and used it while snorkeling around Phuket--I met 2 or 3 other Thai guys doing much the same--even bumped into one of them at Prachuap Kiri Khan a while later--my device flew back to UK many years ago--otherwise I would gladly have rented it out.
