Well came to Bangkok to stay long time. All went well got condo sorted. Then came getting a non O visa done .So hop into cab and go to immagration was I surprised after what seemed like the cab ride from hell He drops me off in front of this strange building alot of Thais out front and not one farang so I go in looked like a convention hall. Walk to information girl points to my left so take the que and walk over find out immagration is in new placemuch to my relief. After I adjusted to got number wasn't 10 seconds before I was seated infront of an immagration officer I might add a very good looking one at that she checks my paperwork ,then says 2,000 baht stamps paperwork and hands me reciept and says come back 15 days whole thing done in under 5 minutes. I leave catch cab to MBK grab a bite to eat back to condo in under 2 hours. Amazing. Only complaint would have been nice to know immagration was in new location.

He applied for non immigrant visa that will give him a 90 entry based upon qualifying for an extension of stay for retirement. He has a 15 day wait while they approve his application.

I guess you haven't been to immigration in Bangkok since they moved to Chaeng Wattana in 2009.
