I have got a question and hope that somebody can help me. In the first place I am not a native English Speaker, so sorry for my terrible English writing. I am married to a Thai woman and about 3 months ago I went to Savannakhet to get a non innigrant-O (marriage) visa for 90 days, because I don't have the 400.000 Baht in my account and also have no income from my home country this was perfect. They don't ask for it. I live not far from the Laos border, it is only 2 hours by buss to Savannakhet. Is it possible for me to go every 90 days to Savannakhet to get a new non innigrant-O (marriage) visa?

Or is there anyone who has a better solution for me?

At Sav you don't need money for a one year Multi-O visa.......

You could of applied for a multiple entry non-o visa that would give you unlimited 90 entries for a year. They do not ask for financial proof to get it. The fee is 5000 baht.

The financial requirements you mentioned are to apply for a one year extension of stay at an immigration office.

Each entry can also be extended with 60 days at immigrations for 1.900 baht.

2.24 In the case of visiting a spouse or children who are of Thai nationality:
Each permission shall be granted for no more than 60 days.

1. Application form.
2. Copy of applicant’s passport.
3. Copy of household registration certificate.
4. Copy of national ID card of the person having Thai nationality.
5. Copy of a marriage certificate or copy of a birth certificate.

Yes you could go to the consulate and apply for the multiple entry non-o visa when you current entry ends.

You could also delay going for the visa by applying for a 60 day extension to visit your wife at an immigration office for a fee of 1900 baht.

You will not get a multiple entry non-o with just your name the birth certificate. You have to be the legal father of you child by way of legitimization of your parenthood. You also would need to be living with your child's mother and your child and have them with you when you apply.

If you can provie financial proof of 200k to 400k baht you can get one in Penang.
