Flying in Chiang Mai from Burma With Aus passport after 30 days extension?

I am Australian, I arrived by air and got the 30 days on arrival at BKK airport. I am now in Chiang Mai and I want to do a 30 day extension at the immigration office here, then after the 30 days if over fly to Burma for about a week, then fly back to Chiang Mai and try to get 30 days on arrival again.

Will it be possible to get 30 days on arrival, with an Australian passport, if I arrive by air after only just finishing a visa extension (so 60 days already, and i want another 30)?

You should have no problem getting another visa exempt entry since you will be out of the country more than a few hours.
