Not new, but I don't think it's been posted before.

All you have to do is work out the number of the space where the car is parked.

Please don't post the solution, just how long it took you to arrive at it. Mine was about 30 seconds, apparently most 6 year olds take about 10 sad.png

EDIT Spoiler added so you can check if you are correct.

87

Took me less than a second, and that while I was eating my cereal at the same time.

Of course since the answer isn't known, who knows if my solution is correctwhistling.gif

OK, OK, I've added a spoiler so you can verify that your 5 second answer is correct :)

From the angle I was looking at it, it seemed impossible to come up with a solution.

When I looked at it from a different angle, it was instantly obvious!

I'd say 87 because if you turn it up the other way the numbers are in order.

Indeed, but did you read the 3rd line of the OP?

Took about 20 seconds.

My "problem" was that I looked at the riddle too complex. I was looking at the 6 and carried it over to the next spot and then back and was trying to figure out a pattern for the 8's. Even used division, addition, substraction. So, after all that, I am actually quite proud with "only" 20 seconds :)

No worries krisb, it lasted all day.

Tried it on paper in the office with our engineers, only one got it immediately (the youngest, he looks about 15), everybody else threatened to lynch me when shown the solution.
