Sorry no info, Just want to say I am sympathetic to your ordeal of having no water.

If at all possible you should invest in a water tank as this years drought and thousands of new condos comming on line can only make things worse. sad.png

10 grand gets you a decent sized tank and pump set. Worthwhile investment these days, especially if you see the levels at the city reservoirs

even a decent size tank is empty after some time without fresh supply. we have two tanks each 4,000 L and use up ~1,000 liters a day.

Usage versus supply is important but with your tanks the water could be off for a week before you would need to get a tankerin. One week without Mains water would be pretty unusual, I think

Bit of an underestimate 1 week that is. I left Patts 8+ year ago because of just the same problem never any water. I had a place off 3rd road. Even with large tanks we were always having to get the tankers in.

This isn't going to go away anytime soon if at all ever.

To much building with no new infrastructure. Looks like you going to have to lump it or like I did leave.

i have water galore supplied by my borewell. but the well water is extremely acidic (i measured pH-values of 5 and even less) that means we have to balance it continously with soda ash. and exact dosage is rather difficult.

Being just of 3rd road we couldn't get a borehole dug more than likely gone through a sewer anyway then what fun.

Since we moved never had one hour without mains water, we do have tanks have mounted the pump after those but never needed.

One of the many joys (traffic) of living out of Pattaya.

thanks for all the replies , water trickles into tank but never fills it. I think our soi must be the end of the line sad.png

Or someone up the street from you has their pump connected directly to the main instead of to their tank

That of course is illegal but this is Thailand after all

Living in Nongprue no water now for three days , anybody else high and dry as well . Filled up twice from water tanker , much appreciated any info.

You should ask your local water supplier, what the pressure is, in their main. There should be a minimum of 1 bar. Testing the main is the only way of finding whether there is a problem, other than that caused by no / insufficient water.

Here on Thepprasit NO water at all for two weeks now.

Are we really living here in a third world country where the government cannot even control the water supply?
