If the black officer can do his job which is to serve and to protect without personal bias, why do the religious looney bins want special treatment to be able to refuse marriage licenses to same sex couples?

Is it because those who hide behind religious beliefs are just control freaks seeking to control other people and religion is a means of mass control over the public? Do this, don't do this.. blah blah blah. Be afraid, be very afraid of GOD! God will strike you down with his wrath! blah blah blah.

Speaking of "mandatory" and anti-gay bigots:

“If we redefine marriage, the homosexual political movement will force churches, schools, families, businesses and individuals to accept, to affirm and even to celebrate those who participate in anal sex, or anal sodomy,” Dr. Steven Hotze, president of the Conservative Republicans of Texas PAC, said Tuesday, as seen in the clip above. “It will be mandated to be taught to the children in the schools, at an early age, starting in kindergarten. They will be encouraged by their teachers to participate in anal sex.”
