Fiancé visa- With Intension Of Settlement After Marriage?

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys

Can anyone point me in the right direction of where the visa info/requirements is for applying for a Visa for my girlfriend and i to marry in the UK, with the intension of applying for FLR (further leave to remain) after we marry while were in the UK.

I take it we can apply for FLR while were in the UK meaning we dont have to leave the UK again to apply??

Also with this Visa i will not need to show evidence we have been living together akin of marriage for 2 years rite? (Although we have but struggling to fine evidence )

Is this the correct visa link? Is this still a settlement visa?

https://www.gov.uk/join-family-in-uk/eligibility

Thanks

You must apply for a fiancée visa. The visa for marriage in the UK is a tourist visa that you can marry on but cannot extend in the UK. You do not have to have been together for two years that is for a partner visa.
