TheAppletons Posted July 12, 2015 Posted July 12, 2015 So desperate are the EU leaders The latest negotiations prove "very difficult" as Germany calls for more Greek austerity or a five-year eurozone "time-out". http://news.sky.com/story/1517428/inconclusive-greek-bailout-talks-suspended A 5 year Eurozone timeout is on the table. Unbelievable. Not that unbelievable. Germany wants Greece out....but may not be able to sell a straight "Grexit" to the rest of the members. So they propose a "timeout" which sounds like Greece will be allowed back in - but then they won't.

I think Germany is desperate to keep the EU intact as they probably see a Grexit as the catalyst for the whole Ponzi scheme to come crashing down.
i claudius Posted July 12, 2015 Posted July 12, 2015 If it wasn't for all the leaders not wanting the gravy train to keep going so that they can swan around the world ,then jump on (think Kinnock and family) when their careers are over then the whole charade would have died years ago
