Netherlands passport photos(fotomatrix) in Bangkok opposite embassy?

Featured Replies

Is it still possible to get the approved Passport photos taken opposite the Netherlands embassy on Soi Tonson? If not, where are the nearest places that can take the approved passport photos? Thank you.

I was there less then 2 months ago and they still did the photos.

Are you sure they take approved passport photos? I know they did visa photo's, but told me they were not accepted for a passport.

The Central (or could be a Robinson) just around the corner at the BTS does passport photos and does know the requirements of several countries. Just ask at the electronics department/powerbuy.

Yesh, the shop opposite the embassy still makes approved passport photos.

I was there 2 months ago and they were still making the photo's across from the embassy. They told me if the photo's are not approved they will make new one's for free, mine where denied twice then i found some 3 year old photo's and they were accepted by the embassy.

Update! The Tuk Tuk/Sam Lor directly opposite the embassy has a little tent set up to take the appropriate pictures. If they are not approved they will redo them for free. Another tip, to not waste time, is to also buy a self adressed envelope with a fifty baht stamp at the same place, to get it sent to you through EMS.
