PHUKET: -- Police seized two cars, a house with land and two bank accounts and a huge haul of drugs in two arrests made in Phuket over last weekend.

Officers moved in and arrested Jarit Sitthisak, also known as “Bang Dam Koh Keaw”, 41, at a house in Soi Koh Kaew, in the Koh Kaew subdistrict, last Friday (July 3).

They found him in possession of 2,978 pills of methamphetamine (ya bah), 174.53 grams of crystal meth (ya ice). In making the raid, officers seized as evidence two cars, his house and land and two bank accounts.

Jarit, who police said was wanted on an outstanding warrant for a long time, was charged with possession of illegal narcotics with intent to sell.

By 5:30pm on Saturday (July 4), officers stopped suspect Anon “Arm” Phirom, 24, in the front of a bank on Thepkrasattri Rd in Rassada.

Officers, who said they had Anon under investigation for a long time, said Anon tried to flee, but was soon apprehend and found to be carrying 1,365 pills of ya bah wrapped into seven separate packages in his bag.

According to police, Anon said that the seven packages were for his customers.

He allegedly confessed that he was nearing the end of a delivery run to Phuket during which he was to sell 10,000 ya bah pills and one kilogram of ya ice.

After the delivery was complete, he was to return to Ratthaphu district, in Songkla province.

Anon was also charged with possession of illegal narcotics with intent to sell.

They do not seem concerned! Maybe brown envelope, already!

I agree, not looking too concerned, considering under current sentencing regulations 1400 (-ish) pills = 350 yrs in pokey.

According to the sentence of the farang last week.

btw 1365?

what happened to 35 pills?

who sells less than 100?
