July 9, 201510 yr More rains forecast tomorrow for most parts of ThailandBANGKOK, 9 July 2015 (NNT)-Those planning to travel to China should consult the weather forecast before making a trip as tropical storm Lin-Fa is moving toward the east of the country.According to the Meteorological Department, the tropical storm will not have any impact on the weather conditions in Thailand. The North of Thailand will experience heavy rains in most part tomorrow especially Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Lamphun, Lampang, Phrae and Tak.It will also rain in most part of the Northeast of Thailand with heavy rains forecast in the upper part of the region. 40% of the Central Plains will experience wet weather conditions.Residents on the east coast are told to brace for thundershowers predicted to occur in 60% of the region. It will also rain in most part of the South of Thailand. Bangkok and its vicinity can expect to go through the same weather conditions tomorrow.-- NNT 2015-07-09
July 9, 201510 yr Tomorrow....... as in not today Today is the tomorrow you worried about yesterday ! (The storm referenced in the OP has been upgraded to Typhoon (Category 1), but is tracking out into the South China Sea, well off the coast of Vietnam. May not even make landfall at all.) Despite that, other forecasts show the next couple of weeks should see a lot of rain in various parts of the country. Naturally, most will occur right when I'm supposed to be taking a trip (via motorcycle) to Nong Khai. (Not a surprise though - anytime between now and next April I would expect to get rained out if going on a trip anywhere in the country.)
July 9, 201510 yr It has been raining in Phichit for a couple of hours. Not torrential but steady. It is also, reportedly, wet.

July 9, 201510 yr No rain in Korat apart from a very light sprinkle last night. No sign of any rain to come, skies clear but a bit cooler which is a relief after 2 hot weeks. Problem, this small bout of rain will not do a thing to replenish the reservoirs.

July 9, 201510 yr Lots of monsoon type rain just to the north of Buriram and in particular on my rice paddies Hope it will stop soon. I'm waiting to water the garden...............
July 10, 201510 yr I hope it rains in Pattaya. Then perhaps the two restaurants on the east side of Second Road and Soi 9 will discontinue washing down the streets adjacent to their businesses each morning. What a waste of water.
