Where to buy a Thai plug (2 pin) to Malaysia/Singapore/UK style plug in Pattaya

Featured Replies

Off to KL for a few days next week, would like to buy an adapter to allow me to charge my phone and notebook. They have a Thai 2 pin plug. Seem to remeber Malaysia uses a UK style plug, the same as Singapore.

Had a look in Tukcom and BigC but did not see any except one really elaborate travel adaptor for multiable countries that was quite expensive.

Many thanks

I have only seen the expensive multiple travel adapters here. I expect it will be quite easy to find a cheaper adapter when you get to KL.

Also, if you are staying in a hotel, most have a two-pin shaver point in the bathroom.

I bought one in the airport, about 30 ringgit if i remember correctly, but many of the Malaysian hotels have a fancy socket, based on the UK 3 pin, but also shaped to accept two blade Thai type.

home-pro sell them, aprox. 65baht.

Got one in Homepro, they have gone up to 119 baht but it seems good quality, both my slot type thai Plugs for phone and notebook charger seem to fit firmly.

Thanks for all the suggestions
