why 50 yo for a "retirement visa"? why not 40?

Featured Replies

40 would be perfect, more people would spend money in Thailand and at this age we tend to spend more than the old cheap Charlie walking in shopping malls for free air-conditioning.

I reckon 65 would be a better age. biggrin.png

A special visa category for those wealthy youngsters, maybe 20,000 a year wink.png

It used to be 55.

There are other countries you can get retirement status earlier.

Such as the Philippines.

You know, you did ask a fair question, and then you made it a troll topic by insulting all older people.

Nice one!

Yeah JT it is a troll post/topic, I just think though it's a kind of funny thing that if they allowed a 40 year old retirement visa and trolls like the OP were allowed a retirement visa at 40 then he'd get fleeced at a lot younger age and end up in a mall for free aircon at a lot younger age...That's if the troll as got any money to be fleeced of anyway...lmao

OP, does VIP stand for very inflated pric*.....
