Five men were arrested yesterday after they were accused of stealing some 60 tonnes of processed and unprocessed rice from a mill in Battambang province’s Thma Koul district.

Officers arrested all five men yesterday morning after the mill owner filed a complaint to the police accusing the men of stealing 50 tonnes of rice that have yet to be milled and another 10 tonnes that have already been processed from his property, according to a National Police report.

I hope they took DNA samples. Something seems a bit off here and I don't think it is the rice. How does someone steal 60 tons of rice? Seems that would take more than 10 minutes, giving time to call the cops. It's not shoplifting at Central.....

50 tons of unmilled rice, what a coincidence that is the same amount that the government has stolen from us in 2013 although we did get an IOU.
