Peaceful Pattaya

Maybe you guys live in a different Pattaya to the one I had the misfortune to visit.

I went to the Pattaya that was filthy dirty, the Pattaya that had no places to park other than a supermarket carpark, even that was overflowing on Saturday, the Pattaya that has an uncommonly high crime rate that is getting out of control, the Pattaya where the Traffic Police wear face masks to protect against the air pollution ( rather unusual for an international beach resort I think ), the Pattaya that floods after a short rainstorm, the Pattaya that is awash with the dregs of Europe and North America and that other area down under somewhere, the Pattaya that is a haven for international sex tourists and uneducated prostitutes.etc etc.....

That's the Pattaya I found myself in, what one do you live in, the Pattaya I went to was in Chonburi Province. :D

Oh yes, wonderful Chonburi, peaceful easy feeling of tranquility, traffic free roads etc...... :o

Jeeez guys, get a grip, Thailand has many nice places, why live in a dump like Pattaya, if you are desperate enough to risk your life with HIV infested prostitutes every now and then, you could always get a bus to Pattaya, the place is also full of VD Clinics, I wonder why, but it suits the lifestyle I guess.

I pity the poor sods that bought a house or condo there, it must have been a few years ago if they did, cos there ain't no way a sane man would want to grow old in that dump, no way.

Not even worth a reply.....but I would have thought that the Mods would not want any part of Thailand to be maligned in the way which this poster does with his flaming manner.

Do sane people continually travel to places that they believe to be filthy, unsafe, polluted, diseased and full of "dregs" from other parts of the world ????

Maigo6, I strongly suggest that you keep taking your medication and next time, make sure you keep your psychiatrist appointment...............and be frightened, be very very frightened of men in white coats. :o

This is not a reply to Maggot feces or whatever his name is, but to fellow folk on the site who are not half blinded by something they must have caught elsewhere ( enough clinics here to cure it in the early stages apparently ) or just so bigoted that they feel it necessary to constantly visit the object of their hatred just to make sure. The pace of posts is quick enough, that if this idiot is ignored, his spite filled ( or envious perhaps ) diatribes, simply fall off the end. I for one will never reply to such drivel again, suggest we all do the same. :o

Well done lads, apart from hurling abuse at me, you failed to get to the point of a Forum and actually discuss my points of view.

I stick by my view of Pattaya, and if your view differs, then I assume there are 2 Pattaya's in Thailand.

The one I know is dirty, streets, beach, sea etc. How about your Pattaya ?

The one I know has escalating crime rates, noticable for the increasing crime against Farangs. Not in your Pattaya ? :D

The Pattaya I know has terrible traffic problems. How about your Pattaya ? :o

The Pattaya I know is awash with sex tourists and prostitutes. :D How about your Pattaya ?

My Pattaya sounds a terrible place to be. Unless of course you happen to thrive in the enviroment I describe. :D

I cannot for the life of me imagine any sane person, choosing to invest ( is that the right word considering you can't own land ?) in property of any kind in such a place, then again, one day The Thais will be better off and mass sex tourism will be a thing of the past, them maybe you will be able to sell your 4 Million Baht Condo to a local fisherman for 100,000 Baht or near offer. :D

Good luck chaps, and remember when you are held up once again in yet another Pattaya traffic Jam, don't get frustrated, smile and think of what a lovely peaceful place Pattaya is. :D:D:D

Maigo6

I suspect Maigo6 holds this blinkered view of Pattaya because he is suffering from a personality disorder. If;

1. If he really believes what he writes.

2. If he gains pleasure from upsetting Pattaya dwellers, anonymously.

I also suspect that (he) has some sexual hang-ups: plenty of sex-worker hatred is evident in his posts.

I also suspect that (he) has suffered financially at sometime in the L.O.S. almost certainly due to stupidity, because he talks of financial loss.

I recommend Maigo6, that you return to your home country and receive counselling, and perhaps, and I mean this sincerely, you might return to sound mind.
