Can I still stay in Thailand?

Featured Replies

Hey folks! Need some help from the seniors here. I'll explain my situation below.

15 days ago, I entered Thailand again on my new One Year Non-B multiple paper visa, with my company's paper - I was supposed to get hired by them when I get back, and get my working permit.

Unfortunately, some terms which we agreed upon weren't met, and I refused to work for them, and I didn't get my work permit. No contracts were ever signed. Since I entered with their papers, and got my non-b visa because of them, what's the deal here ?

I'm allowed to stay until 29th of September in the Passport.

I'm planing to move to Phuket until then, and spend those days there if I still can. Do I need to report my change of adress ? I'm even worried that my visa isn't valid anymore since I refused the employers offer. Can I still re-enter on it if I do a border run ?

Thx a lot in advance! Love you guys! ;)

If you have a multiple entry non-b visa issued by an embassy or consulate it will remain valid for entry until it expires. You can use it for entry as many times as you want to until the enter before date on your visa.

No need to report your address to Phuket immigration.

As per first reply. Visa is still valid. Just your WP is no longer valid.

Unless you LEAVE Thailand BEFORE a 90 day report is due ( then come back and fill out a new TM6 - it has your ENTRY date stamped on it --->> make sure the UNTIL date is correct or blank), you MUST report your address EVERY 90 days.

A multi entry "B" visa only provides 90 day entries. An address report is never required whilst using such visa.

Just for the asking??? With a NON IMMIGRANT B-VISA you shall do 90 days report????

I thought that was only valid for extensions of stay and for a Non Immigrant O-A VISA...

I thought that you have to go out of Thailand every 90 day instead....

Plse inform me, so I know..

OP, this is all you need to know. ubonjoe, this is what he does.

The end.

Glegolo..from one flybird to another..is it clear for you..?

I'm still trying to understand..as I'm about to return!

Nope, this is not fully understood by me either. I did in my earlier post ask a question that noone did answer... So I am still in the dark. And it is NOT getting any better than checking my own country´s thai website, where they are NOT even offerering any Non IMM B multiple entries for sale.

So I am still wondering the thing I was asking for.... But what redgards the reporting of adress, that seems to be fully clear,,, as he will be here LESS than 90 days he do not have to do any 90 day reporting of course, even if he is moving between different Imm.officies here in Thailand.... (Ubonjoe)

So are there 90 day reporting for Non Immigrant B (working) holders to the local immigrant officies OR do they have to leave the country each and every 90 days to get NEW 90 days???? That I would appreciate to know for future...

Any multiple entry non immigrant visa that does not end with an A (OA, BA or LA) only allows an entry of 90 days which means leaving every 90 days.

Those that end with an A and extensions of stay that allow a person to stay in the country longer than 90 days must do 90 day reports.

Moving around the country does not exempt you from doing 90 day reports it you stay longer than days.

Since earlier this year you can only make 90 day reports to your home office unless you formally change your address at a new office. For those with non-*A visas they must establish a home office before making their first report.

'As of this year..beginning this year..ur only required to make 90 day reports to your home office..

Have I got it?

Paraphrasing Uber Joe..

He's the Man..

Thank you UbonJoe for clearing that up for me, and maybe for a whole lot of others..
