webfact
70 year old Australian in drink-related road crash in South PattayaPATTAYA: -- A 70 year old Australian was slightly injured in a single-vehicle road crash in South Pattaya on Thursday Night.Police and medics rushed to the scene and met with the Australian, known only as “Alan”. He appeared intoxicated and was sat on a raised step close to his White Toyota Altis which had sustained significant front-end damage.Earlier in the night “Alan” had gone with his Thai girlfriend, Khun Wipaporn aged 32, to the nearby Vientiane Restaurant located in Soi 1 off the South Pattaya. The pair entered into an argument during their meal and Khun Wipaporn left before her boyfriend, on a motorbike taxi. 20 minutes after she left, the Australian called her and asked for help as he had crashed his car.It appears he was about to exit Soi 1 and turn right onto the South Pattaya Road and somehow collided with the raised step in front of the Trinity Home Mart Paint Shop located on the corner. MB1
Is this really newsworthy ?. I am sure there are many more interesting things happening in Pattaya, like the many robberies and ladyboy attacks It's in the pattaya One news clippings on TV, Pattaya one don't just report on lady boy attacks or muggings/robberies, they report on all sorts of things...... Bet the Aussie feels a right prat if he sees himself on the news or in the paper...If he was over the drink drive limit then good enough for him and same for whatever fine/penalty he may receive...
