Northern Borders Sealed At Myanmar & Laos

Featured Replies

Hello, I keep hearing on the news about the northern borders being “sealed”. Anyone have info or input? If anyone knows anything about the border run situation or does one soon, I’d like to hear details. I’m up the end of next week. Thanks!

It should be business as usual, they're only looking for Toxin cronies trying to escape arrest.

Border to Cambodia was open yesterday,as all is calm I guess they will re-open the northern border soon.

The news said the borders were sealed to prevent illegal migrants from using the coup as an opportunity to enter the country.

Looking for Thaksin cronies is a good reason as well.

With the military it might just have been something they decided would be a good idea to do.

Wow! That is more than a tad bit disturbing. Still I appreciate the info.
