Outbound Vibhavadi Rangsit partially closed to facilitate Bike For Mum participants to register for royal souvenirs

BANGKOK, 25 July 2015 (NNT) – Police have closed outbound Vibhavadi Rangsit Road during this weekend to facilitate the 40,000 participants in Bike For Mom who are to collect the event’s souvenirs.

The distribution of Bike For Mom t-shirts and pins is scheduled to begin at 8.30 a.m. at Royal Thai Army Stadium on July 25 and 26. The outbound frontage section of Vibhavadi Rangsit Road starting from Veterans General Hospital to Sutthisan Junction are off limits to motorists from 5 a.m. onwards.

Parking lots accommodating 1,000 vehicles are available at the National Broadcasting Service of Thailand (NBT), Surasak Montri School, and Rajamangala University of Technology Tawan-ok: Chakrabongse Bhuvanarth Campus.

However, authorities advised those coming to receive Bike For Mom souvenirs royally granted by His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, to use public transport services then transfer to shuttle buses at Victory Monument, Northeastern Bus Terminal and Chatuchak for convenience.

Great idea. This is perfect for a flyby photo video. The promotional value is worth the costs. What costs?, anyway. I bet the entity that owns that real estate is behind it 100%.

Imagine a million bicycles on an elevated highway.... or a few hundred anyway.... maybe all can wear matching shirts.........brilliant
