Ceiling repair material?

Recommended Posts

We had a water leak twice where the ceiling board needed cutting out and replacing. First time the guy did a good job and you can't tell where it is, last time I think he messed t up and did not even finish it claiming somebody else would, but never did. On the 2nd you can see the edges and I was thinking of having a go doing it myself bit have no idea what it's done with, some sort of filler but what to use?

You normally just use normal gypsum, joint tape, and plaster... You'll need cutting knife, a trowel and some sandpaper too. i.e the same things you use when putting it up in the first place....

Get onto Youtube and search for "how to repair drywall" :)
